Salary

In the Netherlands, the salary is determined on the basis of the employee's age and experience. Obligations and rights regarding (the amount of) salary are laid down in Dutch law. An indication of the expected net hourly wage (after deduction of the health insurance premium) is:

The salary will be discussed during the selection process.
The salary and other employment conditions (holiday entitlements, scope of work etc.) are documented in a contract, which is signed by you and by the employer.
The number of expected hours of work per week is normally between 40 and 48 hours.
Your possible earnings are then, if you work 195 hours per month (= 45 hours per week):
